This work is the only four-hand duet piece among numerous piano works by Romppanen. It begins with a cheerful and humorous opening, then moves on to a mysterious middle section without any clear beat, before concluding with a splendid finale. As the title suggests, the motives playfully chase each other throughout the piece, making it a thrilling and dynamic piece despite its short length of three and a half minutes.
